Genie Announces Free-Freight Program for North American Parts Orders | Construction News

From factory to field, Genie now offers North American customers free ground freight on Genie Genuine Parts orders of $750 or more. (Details are available from Genie Genuine Parts representatives.)

To fulfill customers’ parts orders as quickly as possible, Genie ships from two parts warehouses in North America (North Bend, Wash. and Southaven, Miss.) and has a comprehensive selection of certified Genie parts in stock.

“When an aerial work platform in a rental fleet is in the shop, there is a lot of pressure to get it back in the field as quickly as possible,” says Ryan Lusso, Genie senior director of AWP global parts, Terex AWP. “Having the right parts in the shop can mean the difference between having a machine back up and running in a matter of hours instead of days. With our new free freight program, our customers no longer need to choose between Genie Genuine Parts and free freight from third-party unqualified parts.”

All Genie Genuine Parts undergo testing for long-term durability and reliability, which helps customers maintain equipment resale value and warranty.

Replacement components costs are individually small, but their impact on rental up-time is unquestionable, says Genie.

“Using OEM parts will provide the best value over the life of a Genie aerial lift and fit right every time so that customers can maintain their machines’ factory specifications and performance,” says Lusso. “Genie Genuine Parts can net a higher return on investment through more up-time and reliability, as well as reduce the time it takes to make repairs because customers are using the certified parts — minimizing the downtime of routine maintenance and repair is one of the best ways to keep Genie aerial work platforms out on rent and making money.”

The Genie free freight program is currently available only in North America. Freight options worldwide continue to be explored and evaluated.
