Genie Super Series Lifts Now Available in Canada

Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP), Redmond, Wash., has expanded the availability of the Genie IWP Super Series lifts. Customers in Canada are now able to purchase the IWP-30S, as well as the standard base IWP-20S and IWP-25S models, providing rental companies and end users even more choices.

Canadian customers will experience multiple accessibility benefits from this expanded availability. “The Genie IWP has always been popular in Canada, but now, with the IWP-30S, we’re able to help customers reach projects at greater heights,” said Kim Williams, Terex AWP senior market analyst. “Plus, the standard base IWP-20S and IWP-25S roll through single standard doorways and can be operated on more sensitive surfaces, providing users access to more sites. They are cost-effective, smart solutions.”

The IWP-30S delivers a working height of up to 35’6” and a lift capacity of 350 pounds for operators to easily access overhead maintenance jobs. All units feature built-in automatic level sensing, and two front integral leveling jacks provide an additional 2 inches of adjustability.

The standard-base IWP-20S and IWP-25S are up to 590 pounds lighter than the wide base models previously mandated by CSA standards, allowing them to access more sensitive floor surfaces. The 2’8” wide base allows operators greater accessibility to job locations as it is narrow enough to fit through standard single doorways. Buyers of the IWP-20S and IWP-25S will also see a significant cost savings over the wide base models previously mandated by CSA standards.

All Genie IWP Super Series lifts can be set up quickly to help operators get right to work. Each unit includes a low battery indicator, locking key switch, dual activated up/down switch, level sensor and footpad interlocks. Optional power wheel assist on DC models activates hydraulic forward and reverse drive for even quicker, easier maneuverability.

All Genie IWP models are backed by Genie 360°, a complete collection of value-enhancing services, ranging from technical support to training.
