H&E Equipment Services Inc. (H&E) has opened a new store in Pharr, Texas. The new facility near McAllen joins 12 other full-service H&E operations in Texas and 69 H&E stores nationwide.
The reconstructed 15,250-sq.-ft. facility sits on five acres with a large yard, offices, a parts warehouse, and a six-bay repair shop that includes two 10-ton overhead cranes. The facility can repair machines ranging from compact construction equipment to large boom lifts.
The branch specializes in aerial lifts, telescopic forklifts, compact and some large earthmoving equipment, and general construction equipment from Gehl, Genie, JLG, Skyjack, SkyTrak, Atlas Copco, Multiquip, Sullivan, Takeuchi, Wacker Neuson, Yanmar and others.
H&E's Houston Crane Store will continue to provide crane services and products from Grove, Manitowoc, and Manitex.
“We are extremely pleased to increase our presence in south Texas and expand into the Rio Grande Valley market," said Roger Wood, H&E McAllen branch manager. "We are anxious to provide our new and existing customers the resources and advantages of a full-service H&E operation."
In addition to renting equipment, the new H&E store sells new and used equipment, provides in-shop and mobile service, stocks a comprehensive parts inventory, and offers training and other value-added services.
