HeistProof to Introduce New Security System at ConExpo

HeistProof, Bradenton, Fla., will introduce the Keyless Information Security System (KISS) anti-theft and fleet management solution at ConExpo 2011, being held in Las Vegas, Nev., March 22-26.

KISS combines the anti-theft features of the original HeistProof product with the Knowledge is Money (KIM) fleet management product.  HeistProof shuts down a vehicle's operating system except to those it recognizes as authorized to operate the equipment.  KIM combines real-time GPS with M2M technology providing fleet management capabilities such as location of equipment, operator identification, speed alert, history of equipment movement, and many other valuable features, all paperless.

HeistProof’s Anti-Theft solution and KISS were developed in response to a market need. Each year in the U.S., over $1 billion of commercial construction equipment is stolen.  Over 90 percent of this equipment is never recovered.  Companies lose productivity and management time, and are faced with extremely high and growing insurance premiums.

KISS uses individually coded RFID cards to allow authorized operators the access to start specific motor vehicles and equipment.  The cards act as an electronic key pass, authorizing the vehicle to start after qualifying the operator’s identity.  The individually coded card becomes the operator’s personal identification card.

Through its remote programming capability, KISS provides a customized approach to additional levels of security, enhanced functionality and important fleet management and preventive maintenance programs. A secure key card allows independently authorized access to the equipment a company uses, and one authorized key card can operate all or some of that equipment. All HeistProof and KISS solutions are also Smart Phone accessible.
