Hilman Rollers Acquires Traksporter

Hilman Rollers, Marlboro, N.J., has purchased the design, manufacturing and sales rights to the Traksporter, a self-propelled machinery skate, from Beck Inc, Waupun, Wis. The Traksporter was invented by Rob Beck, who will continue work with Hilman as a consultant to further develop the product's capabilities.

“We had been wanting to develop a self-propelled roller for awhile,” said Jeff Hill, marketing director, Hilman Inc., Marlboro, N.J. “The Traksporter is a perfect complement to our existing product line.” The Hilman product line includes a variety of standard rollers and dollies, as well as toe jacks. Currently the product is in a transition phase and will be officially launched by Hilman Rollers toward the end of the summer.

Another new product soon to be released from Hilman is the Bull Dolly, an axle/wheel roller that comes in 1-, 3-, and 6-ton capacities. Wheels are available in nylon, polyurethane, and steel. The dollies can be purchased individually or as a pre-packaged set.
