Hoist Liftruck Revamps Pneumatic Forklifts

Hoist Liftruck, Bedford Park, Ill., announces it has redesigned its P‐Series pneumatic forklift line. The new design is based on the idea behind the company’s new ECH Series empty container handlers.

The redesigned P‐Series features a modular chassis, similar to the ECH Series, which allows for containerized shipping, saving customers as much as 25 percent on shipping and setup costs. The modular design also provides efficient serviceability. Bolt‐on assemblies, such as fuel and hydraulic tanks, can be easily removed and replaced if damaged.

“The modular design not only saves our customers on shipping costs but also [offers] more capacity and wheelbase options,” said Marty Flaska, president of Hoist Liftruck. He noted that with this redesign, Hoist Liftruck is able to offer models with more than 20-ton capacities on shorter wheelbases to meet the needs of customers who need high-capacity lift trucks in tight working environments.

The redesign also features overhead tilt cylinders throughout the P‐Series 10- to 50-ton capacity range. Additional features include a Cummins Tier 3 diesel engine, Dana automatic transmission, AxleTech planetary drive axle, outboard wet disc brakes, wide‐view two‐stage mast, electronic fingertip controls, true inching control, easy access service points and RemoteTech vehicle management system.
