Hoist Liftruck has launched new rough-terrain (RT) versions of its P-Series pneumatic tire liftrucks, with models ranging from 22,000 lbs. to 30,000 lbs. of capacity.

The five models are the RT220 (22,000 lbs.), RT249 (24,900 lbs.), RT260 (26,000 lbs.), RT280 (28,000 lbs.), and RT300 (30,000 lbs.).

The new P-Series RT models are already in production at Hoist Liftruck's new 550,000-sq.-ft. factory in East Chicago, Indiana.

The new RT models feature full-time all-wheel drive with heavy-duty planetary axles and hydrostatic two-wheel steering to maneuver in even the most demanding work sites.

A power-shift three-speed transmission distributes power evenly to the front and rear drive axles for superior traction.

Like the traditional P-Series models, the new RT versions have been designed and tested to meet or exceed current worldwide regulations for stability, sound levels, and safety.

The RT models are built for heavy duty and come with standard features that include a Cummins diesel engine, Dana transmission, AxleTech driving and steering axles, fingertip electronic/hydraulic controls, and RemoteTech vehicle management system.

Use of many of the same North American components throughout the product line helps minimize cost maximize parts availability.

The company says lead time for its standard units is 16 weeks.
