Kardon Kontracts Ltd., Wilmslow, Cheshire, United Kingdom, has taken delivery of the first JLG 1850SJ Ultra Boom lift in Europe. It is the first of four units purchased by the UK rental company.
Kardon owner Gordon McGruer (standing right, with JLG Industries’ Karel Huijser) was the first buyer from outside of North American to order an 1850SJ when JLG unveiled the model in March at ConExpo 2014.
According to McGruer, the 185-foot Ultra Boom is already rented to work on refurbishing a hangar.
