JLG Launches AWPs in Mexico

JLG Industries, Inc., a McConnellsburg, Pa.-based Oshkosh Corp. company, announced that the largest Caterpillar® dealer in Mexico will bring JLG aerial work platforms (AWPs) to its territory. The JLG product launch with MADISA will begin with the purchase of 800S Boom Lifts, 1200 SJP Boom Lifts, 3394 and 4394 RT Scissor Lifts, M600 Boom Lifts, and 1930ES Scissor Lifts. This JLG product launch marks the first time that MADISA has purchased AWPs above 60 feet. They are most often used for large industrial facilities and for new construction in Mexico.  We decided to order these JLG products because we saw an opportunity to expand into another market and JLG will be the line that accomplishes that goal,” said Ing. Leonel Martínez, MADISA product manager.

“To meet our position as ’easy to do business with,’ we wanted to meet and exceed our customers‘ expectations, which in this case meant offering higher reaching lifts that could help our clients complete their projects in an efficient and safe manner,“ he added.

MADISA plans to hold several customer appreciation events throughout the year to introduce JLG aerial work platforms to its clients.

“The MADISA product launch is part of a growing campaign to bring JLG aerial products to Caterpillar dealers in Americas South,” said Global Maye Houck, marketing communications manager JLG Industries, Inc. Caterpillar Alliance Group.  “And of course, we are looking forward to introducing these products to other regions as those opportunities arise.”
