JLG Names Bandekar VP of Engineering for Access Segment | Construction News

JLG Industries Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company and a leading global manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telehandlers, has named Guru Bandekar vice president of engineering for Oshkosh Corporation’s access equipment segment.

In his new role, Bandekar is responsible for all aspects of global engineering and program management. He reports to Frank Nerenhausen, executive vice president, Oshkosh Corporation and president, access equipment segment, and Rob Messina, senior vice president of engineering and technology, Oshkosh Corporation.

“I’m thrilled to announce this new assignment for Guru and am confident he will lead his team in continuing to expand the innovative leadership and pioneering spirit at JLG,” said Nerenhausen. “Guru brings to his position a unique blend of engineering and financial experiences and a proven track record at Oshkosh and JLG that will serve the company well as he assumes this important leadership role.”

Bandekar joined Oshkosh Corporation in 2008 as finance controller and business development lead in the company’s commercial segment. Since then he has held key roles of increasing responsibility, including his most recent assignment as vice president of global procurement and supply chain at JLG.

Bandekar holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Minnesota, a master’s degree in industrial and mechanical engineering from the University of Toledo, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from B.A. Technological University in India.
