Despite reports about the coming closure of its Oakes, N.D., plant, a recent Chicago Tribune article reported that JLG Industries parent company is taking another look at plans to close the facility.
With new military contracts on the books, Oshkosh Corp.’s CEO, Robert Bohn, told the paper he is taking a “serious look” at keeping the plant open and will make a decision within weeks.
JLG announced last month that the plant would shut down by Sept. 24, affecting 61 workers.
