Alan Loux of JLG will keynote the International Powered Access Federation's (IPAF) Asia Conference and Showcase July 20-21 in Singapore.
The conference offers a rare regional perspective on safety and productivity in the use of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and mast climbing work platforms (MCWPs), and marketing and business opportunities in that growing sector.
The two-day event will feature conferences in the morning and product showcases in the afternoon.
The conference keynote speaker is Alan B. Loux, vice president of marketing for the access segment of JLG. Loux will deliver a presentation about the future of MEWPs.

Jonathan Wan, Managing Director, Transvert Scaffold & Engineering, on the Singapore standard on the safe use of MEWPs and how it affects end-users.
Shahid Qureshi, Director of Product Safety & Reliability, Haulotte, on MEWP maintenance.
Kimmo Koskensalo, Chief Technology Officer, Scanclimber, on modern MCWP applications.
Jim Barr, Vice-President/General Manager, Terex Aerial Work Platforms China, on how to run a successful MEWP business.
IPAF welcomes the Singapore Institution of Safety Officers as a co-organizer of this event.
A networking night will be held on July 20th from 19:00 at the Singapore Zoological Gardens and includes a complimentary ticket to the Night Safari.
Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points are available for IPAF instructors and senior instructors, as well as affiliates of the Singapore Institution of Safety Officers, Professional Engineers Board, Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, and the Institution of Engineers Singapore.
