Lift and Access Opens Annual Equipment Showcase to the Public

Since Lift and Access was launched in 2004, its goal has been to provide readers with information to effectively make purchasing decisions for their equipment fleets. One facet has been reviewing equipment through the annual Equipment Showcase.

Over the years, dozens of products have been reviewed, ranging from low-level aerial lifts to 50-ton boom trucks to 12,000-pound capacity telehandlers. Each article and video presentation has focused on the design differences within a product class, and tens of thousands of equipment buyers have relied upon these product overviews to decide which machines to buy.

In the past, the Equipment Showcase has been a closed event, open only to equipment manufacturers and key vendors. However, in 2011, Lift and Access is opening up the Equipment Showcase to some of the world’s biggest buyers of lifting equipment.

Hosted at the West World in Scottsdale, Ariz., the event will provide a venue where management at the highest levels from most of the major rental companies, as well as independent operators in North America, can listen in firsthand to the Equipment Showcase presentations as product managers and engineers explain the nuances of their equipment. And unlike trade shows where new equipment is only shown for display purposes, attendees are encouraged to take control of the machines in the demonstration area, ask questions of product engineers, and learn about key components directly from top industry suppliers.

Qualified individuals from rental companies, service facilities, operators, and more are eligible to attend for free. Additionally, editors of industry trade publications are permitted to attend. Sign up at http://liftshowcase.com/.
