Linde Introduces LPG-Powered Lift Trucks

Linde Material Handling-North America Corp., Summerville, S.C., a subsidiary of Linde Material Handling GmbH, has introduced its new 1313 Series of hydrostatic drive, cushion-tire lift trucks. The four models in the series are LPG-powered, have capacities ranging from 5,000 pounds (H25CT) to 6,500 pounds (H32CT), and are designed for the demanding conditions of the Class IV market.

The series, developed for severe applications, has  a frame constructed of half-foot steel and 5/8-foot cross bracing. Frame, axles, and mast are designed without compromise, according to the company, and the drive and steer axles are also cast.

The series features Linde’s hydrostatic drive system to transfer power from the engine to the wheels. Built to be highly energy efficient, durable, and precise, the hydrostatic drive system is successfully used in the most demanding applications imaginable, including earth-moving, logging, construction, and mining. The system easily manages the adverse effects of ramps, dust, heat, humidity, pushing, shoving, and bulldozing. With no clutch or friction service brakes, the patented Linde hydrostatic drive offers low maintenance costs, high truck uptime, and long life.

LPG engines are designed to provide high torque, low fuel consumption, and low exhaust emission levels. The Linde clear-view mast offers visibility, residual capacity, and electronic limiting of the tilt angle. Twin drive pedals afford the operator a quick change of forward/reverse directions with the short pedal stroke, resulting in increased productivity and no leg fatigue. The control features reliable microprocessor control technology, easily matched to individual application requirements with automatic control of engine RPM. Load control ensures accurate, safe load handling and fingertip control of all hydraulic functions. Traction and all hydraulic functions are completely independent.

Advanced ergonomic design standards are achieved in the Linde operator compartment which features a spacious cab with luxury automobile equivalent legroom, excellent visibility of load and surroundings, cushioned steer axle for reducing road shock, and noise abatement.
