In a joint announcement, Link-Belt Construction Equipment Co., Lexington, Ky., and Tadano Ltd., Houston, Texas, terminated their supply agreement for all-terrain cranes. The supply agreement provided Link-Belt the ability to sell Tadano Faun-manufactured all-terrain cranes under the Link-Belt brand on a non-exclusive basis in the North American, Central American, and Caribbean markets.
A termination agreement, which was developed to provide an orderly conclusion to this supply arrangement, places a high priority on the interests of customers that own the Link-Belt branded all-terrain cranes, and includes long-term commitments on the part of both Tadano Faun and Link-Belt in customer support areas such as parts supply and technical support.
