Major Management Changes Coming to Gehl

Mac Moore, president and CEO of Gehl Co., West Bend, Wis., has announced that he will be resigning from his position with the construction and agricultural equipment manufacturer on March 31, 2010. Dan Miller, vice president of manufacturing operations, will be assuming the position of president.

Also announcing his departure is Dan Keyes, vice president of sales and marketing. His responsibilities will fall to Serge Bosche, current president of Manitou North America and acting CFO of Gehl. Both Gehl and Manitou NA are wholly owned subsidiaries of the French manufacturer Manitou BF.

Moore stated that current market conditions lead him and Keyes to recognize that the company needs to adopt a leaner, more cost-effective organization structure. “Gehl Company has significantly changed and…so have the requirements of our management structure,” he said.
