MEC Hires VP to Handle Cat Rental Accounts

Industry veteran Dave Hubbell joins MEC Aerial Work Platforms as vice president of Cat Rental North America Accounts.

In this role, his primary focus will be strengthening MEC’s partnership with targeted accounts including Cat Rentals dealer network. Hubbell comes to MEC with 34 years of experience in forging lifelong relationships with customers and other aerial industry professionals.

“MEC continues to expand its sales force with incredibly talented, experienced, and high-energy professionals” says David White, president of MEC.  “We are excited to welcome Dave to our team!”

Hubbell’s career started in 1984 at Genie Industries as a regional salesman covering the Mid-Atlantic and Mid-West regions. In 1998, he was promoted to vice president with the task of leading a sales team in building new relationships and business partners with Caterpillar dealers in the United States and Canada, as well as the Pape Group in the west. In 2017, he was promoted once again to lead a new sales division focusing on national and strategic accounts.

“I worked directly with Dave for over 15 years, and his level of knowledge of the access business is unparalleled,” says Pat Witte, vice president of global sales and business development. “This coupled with his deep routed relationships within the Cat Rental network brings great value to the MEC family and serves to strengthen MEC’s commitment to providing personalized service at a world-class level.”
