MEC Promotes Gooding, Adds Industry Vets Broughton and Waller

MEC Aerial Work Platforms, Kerman, California, has strengthened its sales team by promoting  Steve Gooding and adding MEWP industry sales veterans Joe Broughton and Kyle Waller.

Bringing together the right team members at the right time aligns with MEC’s growth initiatives and the commitment to providing customers better solutions and a better experience.

Joe Broughton, West Region Sales Manager 

Broughton has accepted the position of west region sales manager. He comes to MEC with 27 years of MEWP industry experience, during which he has held many positions and leadership roles with leading manufacturers. Leveraging his deep customer relationships and reputation for customer service, Broughton is responsible for developing new avenues of business as well as adding personalized engagement with the company’s customers in the western U.S. and western Canada.

Kyle Waller, Business Development Manager

Waller has accepted the position of business development manager. He comes to MEC with almost 10 years of sales and operations experience, mostly in the MEWP industry. Waller is using his years of experience and connections with the dealer network and industrial customers to promote the MEC advantage and strengthen MEC’s reach with direct parts.

Steve Gooding, Director of National Accounts

Gooding has been promoted to director of national accounts, where he will focus on maintaining and expanding relationships with large rental companies. Gooding’s more than 45 years of experience in the MEWP industry have given him vast technical knowledge as well as decades-long relationships with a wide range of rental companies and industry people.

Gooding joined MEC 10 years ago and has been a keystone in the company’s growth and success. In this role he will work closely with national account personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
