MEC Aerial Work Platforms is relocating to a new state-of-the-art facility in Kerman, Calif. The new location is about 30 miles northwest of the current Selma, Calif., factory.
The Kerman facility is much larger, with separate enclosed areas for research and development, welding, streamlined production lines, and more. The building includes energy-efficient lighting throughout the factory and twice the number of shipping docks compared to the Selma location.
The company began the moving process Sept. 14 and should be in the new facility by the end of the year.
