MEC Strengthens Support for Midwest and East Coast Customers | Construction News

MEC Aerial Work Platforms, Kerman, Calif., has hired Everett Lee as the dealer support manager handling accounts in the Central and Eastern time zones.

Lee's 20 years of technical-support and customer-service experience enhance the capabilities of the existing service and support team.

Adding Lee is part of MEC's effort to extend real-time support to customers on the East Coast and in the Midwest. Along with the rest of the technical services team, Lee is tasked with minimizing down time of machines in the field, being an immediate resource for all service inquiries from the MEC dealer network, and providing service training at customer locations.

The opportunity to enhance the company’s service capabilities with the addition of a highly experienced and tenured service technician comes at a time of peak popularity for the MEC brand and on the eve of the launch of a very exciting product line with the MEC 60-J Boom offering. “This is the next step in growth for this department, and I’m excited to have him on board,” said Product Support Manager Jeff Smith.
