Metrolift Adds Custom Hybrid Lifts to Fleet

Sugar Grove, Ill.-based Metrolift Inc., a leading independently owned, full-service provider of aerial lift equipment and services, has added Custom Hybrid Lifts to address growing market demand for smaller equipment that carries a lower occupied floor pressure. The Hybrid Lifts will attract many contractors that need to fit in confined spaces while satisfying lighter weight restrictions, according to Metrolift.

“The Custom Hybrid Lifts are a good addition to our rental fleet,” said Rick Dahl, president of Metrolift. “They are becoming more popular because of their unique size and light weight. The key to our continued success will be in purchasing the newest, most innovative equipment available.”

The HB-1030 has a platform height of 10 feet, with a work height of 16 feet. The unit holds up to 750 pounds and can fit in nearly any standard elevator. The HB-1430 has a platform height of 14 feet, with a work height of 20 feet. Holding up to 670 pounds, the unit can also fit in any standard elevator. Both of the aerial lifts feature a dual motor electric drive system, which allows for easier maneuvering and an all-around lighter weight.
