MH Equipment, Peoria, Ill., has acquired the assets and assumed responsibility for Yale-brand forklifts in the St. Louis area from Springfield, Mo.-based Gammon Equipment Co. The acquisition will make MH Equipment NACCO Material Handling Group's dual brand dealership, representing Hyster and Yale brands in the St. Louis market.
"Today's acquisition not only allows us to continue to serve the great people of Missouri and Illinois, but it also adds Yale lift trucks to the MH Equipment family making us a dual-line dealer," said John Wieland, CEO of MH Equipment.
Gammon will continue to operate in its Springfield and Jefferson City, Mo., and Fort Smith, Springdale and Little Rock, Ark., locations, with the majority of its St. Louis employees transitioning to the MH Equipment team.
