Miller Products Offers Crane Users Short Delivery Times on Blocks and Hooks

At ConExpo-Con/Agg last week in Las Vegas, Nev., Miller Lifting Products, Charlton, Mass., introduced a new line of mobile crane blocks, new forged eye hooks, and a redesigned insulated link. Boasting short lead times on delivery, standard models of the crane block are available to 80 tons and larger sizes can be custom-built. “These blocks include drop-away sheave guards to allow reeving without removal of the wire rope termination,” says Paul Jankovic, president of Miller Lifting Products. Other features include DIN forged hooks in single and duplex configurations with locking rotation at 90° angles.

The forged eye hooks are available in sizes up to 400 tons. The company has in stock hooks up to 200 tons.

In addition, the company has reconfigured its Miller ISO/Link-AC insulated link for use around power lines in mobile crane applications. The device was originally built for use in industrial smelting operations.
