NES Rentals Implements AWPT Click It! Campaign

NES Rentals Holdings, Inc., Chicago, Ill., has adopted the Click It! program in order to increase jobsite safety and reduce injuries when operating aerial work platforms.

The Click It! campaign was developed by AWPT, Inc., and incorporates a sticker that is placed on boom-type aerial work platforms to remind and encourage operators to wear a full body harness with a short lanyard attached to a suitable anchor point whenever they are in the platform. By adopting the program, NES Rentals has committed to placing the “Click It!” stickers on all boom lifts in its rental fleet.

“We are committed to doing everything we can to create a safer work environment for our customers and employees,” said Chris Bowers, NES Rentals' senior vice president. “If placing 'Click It!' stickers on our boom lifts can prevent even one injury that could have been avoided, our efforts will have been worth it.”

In addition to implementing the Click It! campaign, NES continues to provide annual training to its employees to emphasize the importance of using a suitable harness and restraint system while operating aerial work platforms.
