Omaha Standard Palfinger to Introduce Five Cranes at 2012 NTEA Show

Omaha Standard Palfinger, Council Bluffs, Iowa, will introduce five new models of Palfinger Service Cranes at the NTEA Work Truck Show, March 6-8, 2012, in Indianapolis, Ind.

The new cranes—PSC 3216, PSC 4016, PSC 4025, PSC 5025 and PSC 6025—have model numbers corresponding to their maximum capacity. They are available in both electric and hydraulic versions, and starting with the 4,000-pound model, they will be offered with up to 25 feet of reach.

The new models feature a proprietary hexagonal boom design that eliminates boom sway while adding stability during long reaches; winch-integrated, two-block damage prevention system that eliminates cords and reels to end of the boom tip; a wireless remote control with manual over-ride controls; two powered extensions with internal cylinders offered as options; a maintenance-free extension system; ECOAT Paint; and SAE hoses with JIC fittings.

These new cranes offer enhanced lift-to-weight ratios and hydraulic reaches with lifting capacities ranging from 12,500 foot-pounds (1.66mt) to 38,500 foot-pounds (5.14mt).
