Omega Lift Redesigns Heavy-Capacity Telescopic Handler Line

Omega Lift Manufacturing Inc., Bolton, Ontario, Canada, has announced the re-design of their heavy capacity telescopic handler line. The ARM XL Series offers from 12,000- to 20,000-pound capacities in standard production, and up to 30,000 pounds capacity as a custom order.

The ARM XL boasts a Tier III, six-cylinder Perkins Turbo Diesel engine and hydrostatic drive with an optional shift-on-the-fly gearbox. It uses dual hydraulic pilot joysticks to operate boom and carriage functions, and has the ability to accommodate many attachments including side shifting carriages, pipe clamps, buckets, and winches. The telescopic handler is fully certified for rough-terrain use, and features full-time four-wheel drive, four-wheel, and crab steering modes. It comes standard with frame leveling, as well.

“The goal of the ARM XL was to combine the heavy lifting capacity usually reserved for vertical mast machines, with the versatility and flexibility that naturally comes with a telescopic design,” explains Nick Acocella, director of international sales and marketing for Omega Lift. “We are extremely excited about the launch of this re-designed machine. Delivery of the first re-designed units began in May of this year and we have been receiving excellent customer feedback.”
