OMME Lift USA, Syosset, N.Y., will introduce a new track-mounted self-propelled spider-type lift manufactured by OMME Lift of Denmark at The Rental Show in March.
The OMME 2750 RBDJ articulating compact lift features an 84-foot platform height with a 52-foot side reach. This unit shares many characteristics of straight boom telescopic OMME lifts, including a hybrid Kubota diesel, 24V battery operating system, movable jib, rotating basket, 440 pounds of platform capacity, and variable-width tracked undercarriage. The articulating lower boom allows for zero tail extension while rising, eliminating the worry of colliding with adjacent walls or obstacles. Over-and-around capabilities of the knuckleboom eliminate the challenges met by straight telescopic booms and cumbersome double-jib machines.
The machine's 11,000-pound weight allows for trailer transportation with a pickup truck and eliminates the impact caused by heavier, conventional equipment to soft or delicate surfaces. Measuring 44"x294"x92", the OMME 2750 RBDJ's compact dimensions make the unit ideal for any interior/exterior maintenance or construction company, tree service, rental outfit, casino, amusement park, or billboard contractor.
