Pathway Polymers, Chattanooga, Tenn., manufacturer of tire flatproofing products, has been issued a certificate of registration by Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. for conformance to the ISO 9001:2008 international standard. Recognized globally as a hallmark of total quality management, the certificate acknowledges Pathway Polymers as a company with a consistently applied system of quality standards and procedures.
“The ISO certification is a recognition of the hard work and the commitment to excellence demonstrated by all employees at all levels throughout our organization,” said Joseph P. Danules, Pathway Polymers president and CEO. “We take pride in being a leader within our industry and being the first flatproofing firm to be awarded with the ISO 9001:2008 certification is an honor that we know our customers will appreciate,” he added.
Having achieved the initial certification, Pathway Polymers will be required to participate in regular surveillance audits from the registrar every year in order to maintain the chemical manufacturer’s ISO certification.
Perry Johnson Registrars Inc. is an independent registrar accredited by ANAB, RvA, UKAS, INMETRO, and SINCERT to register clients to ISO 9001:2008.
