Raymond Program Offers Cash Incentives to Upgrade Lift Trucks

The Raymond L.I.F.T. (Lift truck Incentive For Trade) program from The Raymond Corp., Greene, N.Y., enables companies to upgrade their existing lift truck fleets by purchasing new, more efficient equipment. Through the program, warehouses and distribution centers will receive cash incentives for upgrading their existing Raymond® and non-Raymond lift trucks that are 12 years or older. Cash incentives vary depending on the make and model of the lift truck being traded in.

“New lift trucks can enable companies to improve productivity and energy efficiency for reduced total cost of ownership,” says Joe Ginnetti, vice president of sales for The Raymond Corporation. “For example, Raymond’s exclusive ACR System™, found on most new Raymond models, features a brushless motor that requires little maintenance. A regenerative lowering feature, found on new Raymond 9000 Series Swing-Reach® lift trucks, recharges the lift truck battery when the forks are lowered to increase battery life.” Trucks traded in through the Raymond L.I.F.T. program will be recycled, according to a press release on the program.

Due to the high recyclability of the iron and steel from which lift trucks are constructed, up to 97 percent of each Raymond truck is recyclable. Companies can take advantage of this program by calling their local Raymond Sales and Service Center or visiting www.raymondcorp.com/LIFT. Raymond and non-Raymond lift trucks may be traded in until March 31, 2010.

The amount of cash back is dependent on the make and model of the lift truck being traded in, according to the press release. The program is available for approved customers through Raymond Leasing Corporation and participating Raymond Sales and Services Centers. Not all applicants will qualify. Lift trucks must be submitted to authorized Raymond Centers between Sept. 2, 2009, and March 31, 2010. Raymond reserves the right to modify or cancel this program at any time for any reason, and the offer cannot to be used in conjunction with any other programs or offers.
