Runnion Equipment, Lyons, Ill., has named Michael Prochot as its new president. Prochot most recently vice president and general manager and will succeed Patrick Runnion, who is now the CEO of the company.
“As a long-time employee at Runnion Equipment, Michael understands our business and knows our customers,” said Runnion. “We have grown significantly in the past few years, and I am confident we will continue to flourish under Michael’s leadership.”
Runnion Equipment concluded 2012 with outstanding growth in every area. In order to maintain this trend, the company is realigning top management to improve focus and specialize roles.
As vice president of Runnion Equipment for 13 years, Prochot has been responsible for managing the company’s operations, finances, marketing, IT, and programs for insurance, safety, and training. Prior to joining Runnion Equipment, he served as vice president and chief financial officer with Bulley & Andrews Inc. for eight years. A Chicago native, Michael has more than 35 years of experience in the crane and construction industry.
