Snorkel Provides Complete Sales/Service in Queensland, Australia

After three years of outsourcing its after-sales care in Queensland, Australia, Snorkel will now offer customers in the area a complete sales, service and after-care solution in-house.

Beginning July 1, 2012, Snorkel will provide direct service support and spare parts distribution from this facility. Its former support supplier, EPMS, will no longer be the authorized after-sales representative for Snorkel. Snorkel already provides direct after-sales care to customers based in the rest of Australia.

Matthew Elvin, president of Snorkel Australia, said: “We believe that the integrated sales and service model provides our customers with the best possible level of support. We have some great customers in this part of the world and owe it to them to deliver the best care. Over the coming months, Snorkel will be expanding its Meadowbrook team by creating up to 10 jobs and further investing in tools and equipment to support our Queensland customer base.”

Snorkel moved its Queensland branch to Meadowbrook, south of Brisbane, in 2009. The 16,000 square meter facility includes 300 square meters of office space, along with product support capabilities and a warehouse for machines and spare parts.

Snorkel has appointed a new service supervisor based in Meadowbrook and is currently recruiting both workshop-based technicians and field service engineers.
