Stahl Updates Utility Service Van Body

In 1973, STAHL, Wooster, Ohio, introduced the enclosed service body for a van body and called it a STAHL utility service van (USV). Today's USV is available in a cab-height model that is designed for residential use or other applications requiring a smaller footprint or where vehicle height is restricted. This “mobile enclosed work station” is a corrosion-resistant, all galvanneal steel body.

Standard features include 10 feet of interior storage that allows materials like 4x10 pieces of drywall to be stored on their sides rather than flat on the floor. Rear conduit doors allow storage of up to 10-foot-long conduit on interior shelves. Full-length interior shelves come standard, with Interior access to horizontal compartments. Rotary bar locks secure all side compartments at once for added security.

A climate control bulkhead features a sliding door to separate the cargo area from the chassis. A drop-step bumper makes stepping in and out of rear cargo area easier. The USV is covered by Stahl's 5-Year “No Rust, No Bust” warranty.
