Stewart Engineering and Sales Co., Muskegon, Mich., has introduced its All-Purpose Dump Bucket. Designed to handle materials, such as stone, aggregate, concrete, trash, boulders, or slurreys, the 6-ton capacity bucket measures 6 feet in diameter and 4 feet deep. It has a concrete spout and an 8" by 8' elephant trunk that can be easily removed.
The dump bucket remains horizontal when lifted with its main hook or auxiliary hook slack. It tilts toward the crane operator when the auxiliary hook is lifted or the main hook is lowered. Crane operators have complete control over the speed and amount of tilt, up to 180° (upside down). When the auxiliary hook is lowered, the bucket returns to its original horizontal position.
