Terex Cranes, Zweibruecken, Germany, recently hosted an open house event at its Helsingborg, Sweden, facility for visitors from Scandinavia.
Terex displayed cranes in the yard and showed guests around the new facility and workshop. Despite inclement weather, some of the company’s major Swedish customers, including teams from Havator, Kranexpressen AS, Bärarelaget, Ramirent and Flens Byggmaskiner, attended the event.
“We were delighted with the participation, which ended up by far higher than expected,” said Carsten von der Geest, managing director, Terex Cranes, Helsingborg. “Our customers responded really well to our products in what turned out to be a great day for all of us and gave real meaning to the saying ‘Every cloud has a silver lining,’ or at least for us here in Sweden.”
