Tiffin Parts, a business unit of Pettibone LLC, Downers Grove, Ill., which is an affiliate of The Heico Companies, has launched its new factory rebuild program for Pettibone cranes and railcar movers.
“As the original manufacturer and exclusive supplier of OEM parts for Pettibone Cranes and our past experience in rebuilding Pettibone equipment, we are in a unique position to return the best-made equipment in the industry into like-new condition at a cost significantly lower than buying new,” said Mark Knight, president of Tiffin Parts. “In the current economic environment, we have been receiving calls to rebuild equipment and in response to our customers’ requests, we have restarted this operation.”
Knight said the company website has also been redesigned and now provides additional technical reference information and a Pettibone blog by industry expert Tom Ardner, parts manager and the leader of the sales team.
Tiffin Parts offers technical support as the exclusive supplier of OEM parts for Pettibone cranes, backhoes, railcar movers, compactors, OMNI Manlifts and Mercury Forklifts. The company has more than 300,000 blueprints on file enabling it to rebuild and manufacture parts for specific pieces of equipment.
