Travelers Rest, S.C.—No one was reported injured, but traffic was tied up when the trailer carrying a rented boom lift tipped over and dumped the lift onto a highway.
The trailer was being towed by a dump truck and the tandem was crossing a highway when the trailer tipped over. No explanation was given for why the trailer tipped.
The accident tossed the large, self-propelled boom lift onto its side on the highway, where it blocked two lanes of the four-lane road. Traffic had to be detoured while the South Carolina Highway Patrol and clean-up crews removed the boom lift, trailer, and accident debris. – www.trtribune.com
