Trojan Battery Launches New Cycling AGM Battery Line

Trojan Battery Company, Santa Fe Springs, Calif., recently introduced its new Cycling AGM line of sealed absorbed glass mat (AGM) batteries, featuring improved cycling power in heavy duty and deep discharge applications.

Trojan’s Cycling AGM batteries are engineered on proven cycling technology, offering performance and long life with the company’s robust AGM plate design. The Cycling AGM products require no watering and are completely maintenance free for maximum convenience. In addition, its sealed/non-spillable construction is UN2800 certified, allowing for flexibility in transportation by air, sea and ground.

Rugged construction improves vibration resistance over conventional lead acid batteries. A durable polypropylene case protects against damage in heavy service applications. The batteries feature removable carrying handles for easy lifting and installation and a flame arrestor pressure vent for overall safety.

“As the world’s deep cycle leader, Trojan Battery consistently strives to surpass our own industry-leading performance standards,” said Dave Godber, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Trojan Battery. “Trojan’s new Cycling AGM batteries are ideal for customers that want heavy-duty cycling capabilities and require sealed battery technology for either convenience or due to environmental regulations.”

Trojan’s Cycling AGM line will include the 24-AGM, 27-AGM, 31-AGM and OverDrive AGM 31 batteries, which are all available through Trojan’s Worldwide Master Distributor Network.
