TVH Promotes Engine Reman Program for First Time at an ARA Show

Along with its myriad other products and services, TVH, Olathe, Kan., promoted its industrial-equipment engine remanufacturing program for the first time at ARA’s The Rental Show in New Orleans in early February.

TVH advertising manager Darrell Loomis says that the engine remanufacturing program has been underway for about a year and has drawn excellent response.

TVH showed off one of its remanufactured engines at the ARA show. The company’s printed information shows that the program includes engines from most of the manufacturers: Ford, GM, Hercules, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Perkins, and Toyota.

All work is performed to current OEM specifications by A.S.E.-certified technicians, and the remanufactured engine is warranted for one year or 1,500 hours of operation. It is also warranted against oil leaks for 90 days.

TVH touts the shipping case used for delivering the remanufactured engines and for shipping back cores as an industry leader.

Keeping with the upbeat feeling felt throughout the ARA show’s entire equipment exhibit hall, Loomis said that industry activity seems to be picking up, and that January, 2012, was the best month TVH’s North American operation has ever had. “Parts are really moving,” he said.
