United Rentals, Inc. has announced the further expansion of its specialty rental branch network with the addition of three locations dedicated to providing temporary power and climate control solutions.
United Rentals Power & HVAC recently opened branches in Hampton, Va., Lake Charles, La., and Phoenix, Ariz., to provide engineered power and climate control solutions for commercial, industrial and governmental customers, and disaster recovery services. The company now has 116 specialty operations and 830 total branches in the United States and Canada.
Paul McDonnell, senior vice president - operations, trench safety, power and HVAC, said, "We are accelerating the growth of our footprint in response to customer demand for innovation and productivity in a wide range of specialized applications. The latest openings are part of a planned expansion for 2013 that will build on United Rentals' strategic position as the leading single-source provider of safe, efficient site solutions.
