UpRight, Fresno, Calif., announces the return of the AB46 articulating boom lift. Since the news broke, the company has received more than 100 orders for the machine.
Available in two-wheel drive electric or four-wheel drive rough-terrain, the AB46 self-propelled articulating boom lift features a platform height of 46'4" and a working outreach of 24'6". With its articulating boom configuration and 5-foot jib with 140� platform rotation, the AB46 excels in up-and-over capabilities and maneuverability. Other features include zero tailswing, a 24-inch inside turning radius, and 30% gradeability for the electric model and 40% for the four-wheel drive version.
According to UpRight, the re-introduction of the AB46 is part of the company's plan to return to full-line manufacturing, and it expects that the addition of the AB46 will increase UpRight's ability to penetrate major rental companies' fleets worldwide.
The company further noted that while the AB46 is a tried and tested machine, UpRight is always looking at ways to improve its products. Prior to production, UpRight will build in some "redesign time" for any product improvements.
