Vacuum Lifter Designed for Contoured Structures

A new below-the-hook vacuum lifter, which uses a three-legged approach with pivoting suction cups for attaching securely to contoured structures and vessels, is being introduced by Anver Corp. of Hudson, Mass. The Anver VPFL4-20-AIR Series Vacuum Generator, engineered for awkward loads, features a tri-beam design with fully adjustable suction cups that pivot to securely fit onto the surface of contoured structures and vessels.  Accommodating loads from 24-inch to 48-inch diameters and up to 500 pounds, it has an all-welded steel frame and an adjustable handle bar to keep the operator at a safe distance. Equipped with a vacuum loss sensor which activates an audio-visual alarm in the event of a vacuum loss, or if 10 percent leakage occurs, the vacuum generator includes a slide control valve with a safety lock, high-capacity air-powered vacuum pump, gauges, and an air filter. Various vacuum suction cup materials are offered to match applications.
