Volvo Rents, Fletcher, N.C., has acquired construction equipment rental company Inland Rentals, LLC, Post Falls, Idaho. The acquisition, one of 50 in the last year, brings Volvo Rent’s North American total to 70 stores.
In addition to Volvo Rents’ line of Volvo compact equipment, such as backhoe and skid steer loaders, compact wheel loaders, compact excavators and compaction equipment, the rental center carries equipment and tools for the construction, commercial, industrial and homeowner markets, focusing on daily, weekly and monthly rentals.
Stacey Peterson, who founded Inland Rentals in 2006, plans to stay on in a consulting role.
