Volvo Rents, Shippensburg, Pa., has added another rental house its company through the acquisition of Big L Rentals and Sales, a single-location construction equipment rental company located in Garden City, Kansas. This is its 27th acquisition since the beginning of the year, lifting its North American total to more than 100 stores.
“We believe there is tremendous opportunity in the market in general, and specifically in the state of Kansas,” said Mike Crouch, vice president of business development for Volvo Rents, noting the company’s other two stores in Wichita and Pittsburg. “Our strong brand recognition, coupled with the growing demand for equipment rental, allows us to look to the future with great enthusiasm.”
