Volvo Rents, Shippensburg, Pa., now shows used equipment of all brands on its website, www.volvorents.com. The newly added section, found under the company services tab, currently covers 10 categories of equipment, including aerial work platforms and telehandlers.
“This is a large step for us as a company,” said Ed McHale, director of fleet Management for Volvo Rents. “Previous efforts to make our used equipment more visible centered on local or at best regional, advertising. With this new business development, we can communicate to a much broader customer base.”
The equipment ranges from excavators to generators, aerial work platforms to backhoe and skid-steer loaders that are located throughout Volvo Rents’ more than 130 locations in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
“Our rental equipment is constantly rolled out to ensure that we have the newest and most up-to-date fleet possible,” McHale added. “Making our used and well-maintained equipment more readily available and accessible to potential buyers allows us to better service our rental customers with the latest and greatest in construction equipment.”
The site offers a full inspection report for each item, as well as location information in case a potential buyer would like to make an additional inspection.
