Volvo Rents will become a subsidiary to AB Volvo and will no longer be a part of Volvo CE. Scott Hall has been appointed president and CEO of Volvo Rents, effective May 1, reporting to Mikael Bratt, chairman of the Volvo Rents board and CFO of AB Volvo. Hall will relocate from his position as executive vice president and head of global sales and marketing at Volvo CE to the new Volvo Rents headquarters in Shippensburg, Pa. Barry Natwick will take the position of chief operating officer of Volvo Rents, reporting to Hall.
“Scott Hall has done an extraordinarily good job as head of Global Sales & Marketing and I am very pleased that he has accepted this new challenge. I am convinced he, together with Barry Natwick and the rest of the team, has the capabilities to grow Volvo Rents to a sizeable business,” said Olof Persson, president and CEO of Volvo CE.
Hall’s successor has yet to be announced.
