ReechCraft Inc., Fargo, N.D., has entered the low-level aerial lift market with the debut of its new PowerLift single-person platform.
PowerLift is a lightweight, portable personnel lift that delivers 350-pound capacity yet is simple for one person to transport to, from, and around jobsites, thanks to its light weight, modular design, casters, and wheels. Weighing in at just 278 pounds, the PowerLift is easy for an operator to roll or carry up stairs, over rough terrain, and through standard doorways. The modular design lets users to trim the weight to less than 150 pounds by detaching the basket, mast sections, and outriggers from the base.
The platform can be raised to its 14-foot maximum height using an 18-volt cordless or corded AC drill. "Our goal was to offer a product that provided more portability, able to be used just about anywhere, but also provide access to 20 feet which covers a very large percentage of applications" said Shane Nickel, senior vice president. "With PowerLift we came in at only one third the weight and nearly half the cost of conventional powered work platforms," said Nickel.
The PowerLift’s stowed height is 5’9” with a footprint of 53” x 30”. Its fully assembled mast height is 16’4”. The platform measures 26” x 30” and the fully assembled base measures 65” x 52”.
PowerLift stows and transports easily in a pickup truck or minivan. ReechCraft says it’s suited to facilities, contractors, and homeowners who need to quickly, easily, and safely maneuver a lift into position to do a job.
