Linamar Corporation’s Skyjack division has added three new territory managers to support the company's growth in North America.

Skyjack realigned territory boundaries and created the new roles to enhance coverage and better serve its customers.

Territory Manager George Kidwell will be responsible for sales in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Territory Manager Richard Pomponio will be responsible for sales in Pennsylvania and New York.

Territory Manager Douglas Mingst will responsible for sales in New Jersey, metro New York City, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

As territory managers, the trio will be responsible for strengthening relationships with existing national accounts and developing new relationships with independent customers.

“I take pride in building strong relationships with people, and that is what I plan on doing in this position,” said Kidwell.

Pomponio added, “Skyjack has set an aggressive goal to grow considerably through product development and supporting the sales network. As a territory manager, I plan to help meet this goal in the best way possible.”

Mingst agrees, adding, “As the territory manager for the Mid-Atlantic region, I’m looking forward to selling a top product for a top manufacturer in the industry I know best.”

Kidwell has more than 20 years of sales experience, including seven years in construction sales at Sunbelt Rentals, giving him background knowledge of Skyjack products. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pa. In his new role, Kidwell hopes to help grow Skyjack’s market share in boomlifts and telehandlers, as well as bring new customers into the Skyjack product family.

Pomponio brings more than 25 years of experience in the construction equipment business, including 20 years working directly in sales and management. This experience has allowed Pomponio to build strong relationships with his customer base and familiarize himself with Skyjack products. Pomponio plans to use his past management experience to focus on expanding the Skyjack customer base.

Mingst has more than two decades of sales experience in the aerial work platform industry, giving him extensive knowledge of the industry’s products as well as the equipment rental market. He is excited about the opportunity this position offers at Skyjack, and is looking forward to using his first-hand knowledge of the industry and its products as well as his existing customer relationships to help Skyjack grow its customer base and sales in the Mid-Atlantic region.
