JLG Industries to Close All U.S. Manufacturing Plants

JLG is suspending production at its U.S. facilities from March 30 through April 13 to help limit the spread of COVID-19.

Able Buys Mobile Lifts, Making it Fifth Northeast Location

Able Equipment Rental Inc. of New York purchased the aerial equipment assets and service operations of Mobile Lifts Inc., in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

The location will become the newest branch of Able Equipment Rental, its fifth location in the Northeast. Able will retain most of the Mobile Lifts staff and plans to grow the team immediately. 

Able's newest branch is 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia and accessible by several major roads and highways. The facility is well-situated to service the King of Prussia area and  deliver equipment throughout the region.

Pettibone Enhances Design With Extendo 944X Telehandler

BARAGA, Mich. — Pettibone’s next-generation Extendo 944X telehandler provides several new design updates.

With its newly designed boom, the 944X offers maximum lift capacity of 9,000 lbs., max forward reach of 30 ft., and max lift height of 44’6”. Its formed boom plates adds strength while reducing weight. The design also minimizes boom deflection for more control and accuracy when placing loads.
