Genie, the Aerial Work Platforms segment of Terex Corporation, celebrates its 50th milestone anniversary this year.

Genie created a whole new facade for the The National WWII Museum in New Orleans during the 2015 Rental Show last week. In fact, the facade was 100 ft. tall, 3D, and very blue.

Promoting the completion of its six-unit Genie GTH-telehandler product family, Genie and The Production Network, (Genie’s event producer) collaborated with Go2 Productions of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to create a specialized and astounding “projection mapping” animation.

Genie Industries, Redmond, Wash., took responsibility for Terex telehandlers back in 2005, quickly changing the nomenclature to GH-1056 and the color to its signature blue and gray. Within a few months, the company had made some improvements -- mostly with a new cab design on the telescopic handlers.

Video was taken in 2006 by Lift and Access magazine for its annual Equipment Showcase in Phoenix.
