Tire maker Trident International has shared tips to help people who buy tires for telehandlers know what to look for as they shop.

Telehandlers are versatile, efficient, multifunction machines that combine the lifting capability of a forklift with the reach and elevation of a crane.

Telehandlers should be fitted with tires that offer high stability that matches the demands of their applications: lifting heavy loads and reaching high heights, often on unstable or unfinished surfaces.

Skyjack has recently upgraded its telescopic and articulating boom lifts to deliver increased productivity for rental companies and users.

Most of the changes are on 40’ and 60’ units. Depending on the model, capacities are increasing to 1,000 lbs. and personnel capacity is rising to three people.

The nomenclature for these machines will feature a “+” to identify the increased machine capacity, differentiating the new machines from their previous models.

Magni Delivers First 167’ Rotating Telehandler in U.S.

Magni America recently delivered the first RTH 6.51 rotating telehandler in the United States to Adams European Contracting, Brooklyn, New York.

The RTH 6.51 is the highest lifting rotating telehandler in the world, with a maximum lifting height of 167 ft. The 6.51 offers a maximum lifting capacity of 13,200 lbs. and maximum horizontal reach of 113 ft.

With the purchase of the RTH 6.51, Adams European Contracting now owns six Magni rotating telehandlers.

Bobcat’s new V923 VersaHANDLER telehandler is ideal for operators who need more lifting height, reach, and capacity.

 

The 130-hp turbocharged Bobcat engine and heavy-duty drive train deliver 9,000-lb. maximum lifting capacity, more pushing strength, and travel speed to 24.5 mph. Maximum lifting height is 23’0”, and maximum forward reach is 13’6”. Total weight is 18,158 lbs.

Western States Equipment is a general rental company owned by the Costanzo family. It operates a substantial fleet of aerial work platforms and telehandlers.

Established in 1997, Western States Equipment serves Utah, Idaho, Nevada, and Wyoming.

Kingsbridge has historically focused on providing independent financing solutions for equipment acquisition. The Western States Equipment acquisition is reportedly its first foray into equipment rental.
